Kirstie Alley on 'Dancing': 'I Want to Be Good'

After suffering two mishaps in two weeks on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, Kirstie Alley has one question.

“Is there like a curse – an injury curse going on?” she asked Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson after her shoe fell off during the waltz Monday.

Last week, Alley's partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy dropped her after he experienced a "charley horse”-esque pain in his leg.

“Look, here’s the deal, we’re playing hardball, we’re not p***ying around out there,” Alley explained to Access. “We’re not dancing, we’re sort of in a football game. I think we gotta get on the dance floor. You know, we’re running, we’re being tackled.”

If she makes it through another week, she said she is hoping to make up for any past mishaps. “I want to be good, I do,” she said. “I don’t want to be doing comedy without knowing it. If this was a sitcom I couldn’t write this better, but it’s happening and it’s freaking me out.”

She is keeping a sense of humor about everything. Asked who was to blame for the show mishap, Alley jokingly told People.com, "I think that the other girls came into my dressing room and tampered with my shoe. And I'm not going to name any names ... Petra [Nemcova]."
