Kodak ups twosome as bigger picture develops
EmptyEastman Kodak has expanded the responsibilities of two film industry veterans.
Ann Turner was promoted to chief marketing officer and vp for the company's film, photofinishing and entertainment group, while Michael Morelli was upped to vp and GM of Kodak's motion picture business in North and South America.
"(The promotions) are part of the growing changes as we continue to invest in future film business and look for additional opportunities in the digital business," Morelli said.
Turner was regional business GM and vp Americas region of the entertainment imaging division. In her new role, she will provide leadership for marketing processes and strategies across all FPEG businesses, with dual responsibility for the EI marketing program and marketing services staff.
Morelli's new role is in addition to his current one as vp and worldwide GM of strategic accounts, for which he oversees worldwide business with motion picture studios, production companies and laboratories.
Turner joined Kodak in 1978. She has held a variety of sales and marketing positions and is an associate member of the American Society of Cinematographers. Morelli, who joined Kodak in 1985, is an associate member of the ASC and an honorary member of the Australian Cinematographers Society.
In related news, Peter Boyce is relocating from Europe to Hollywood to join the Americas team as GM for North America, reporting to Morelli. Boyce will be responsible for all segments of the business as well as regional marketing and operations for the U.S. and Canada.
Boyce joined Kodak in 1974 and has held a number of sales, finance and management positions.
