Kris Jenner Continues Media Blitz, Set to Appear on 'The View'
One day after news broke that Kim Kardashian was filing for divorce after 72 days of marriage to Kris Humphries, Jenner makes a slew of appearances to promote her book, clothing line and to discuss her daughter's separation.
On the heels of Kim Kardashian's divorce news, Kris Jenner will be appearing on ABC's daytime talker The View on Wednesday, it was announced by Barbara Walters.
The appearance comes at an opportune time for Jenner, who serves as Kardashian's manager in addition to being her mother, and who will also be stopping by NBC's Today that day to discuss her daughter's 72-day marriage to professional basketball player Kris Humphries. Jenner will be promoting her book Kris Jenner ... and All Things Kardashian, which was officially in stores Tuesday, during her View appearance.

When news broke Monday that the 30-year-old Kim Kardashian was seeking a divorce from her 26-year-old husband, the Kardashians issued several statements to the media. First, of course to the E! network, which airs the family's Keeping Up With the Kardashians franchise. An E! spokesperson said that producers and executives were surprised by the divorce filing, going into emergency meetings to discuss how to proceed, including how the network will deal with scheduled re-airings of the couple’s two-part wedding special.
"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage," Kardashian said through her rep. "I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."
Humphries said in a statement in response to the divorce: “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”
On Monday evening, Kardashian left for Australia and E! confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday that cameras will not be joining her.
