Kristen Stewart Was Disappointed Trump Didn't Respond to Her Jokes About His Tweets
"Did this teach you how to deal with bullies?" asked Colbert.
On Thursday night's Late Show, Stephen Colbert asked Kristen Stewart about Donald Trump's previous tweets about her, which she recently spoke about on Saturday Night Live.
"You were one of the first people on Twitter that our president, Donald Trump, attacked repeatedly," said Colbert. "Keep in mind that this man is now the keeper of the nuclear launch codes."
"Hey, man, that's whatever," said Stewart, brushing off her shoulder.
"Did this teach you how to deal with bullies?" Colbert said, asking if she knew why he attacked her. Stewart said she didn't know but she wished he had responded to her when she brought it up while hosting SNL. During her gig on the comedy show she had said, "The president is not a huge fan of me. But that is so OK. And Donald, if you didn’t like me then you probably really aren’t going to like me now, because I’m hosting SNL and I’m, like, so gay, dude."
"I did it publicly, and he didn't publicly respond. I was kind of disappointed," Stewart said. She added, "We're all different. That's OK. Celebrate the differences. Whatever."
"He tweeted at you 11 times," Colbert continued. "How does it feel to be tweeted at more than the president has condemned anti-Semitism?”
"Oh, my god," responded Stewart, shaking her head in disbelief.

Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again--just watch. He can do much better!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 17, 2012
