The couple may not have planned to share the sex of their unborn child -- but someone forgot to inform Cutler’s teammates.  

“He’s having a boy,” Chicago Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett said Tuesday on the Boers & Bernstein sports radio show. “I am excited for Jay. It’s a great time.”

In an interview with Glamaholic magazine in March, the former Laguna Beach star said that she knew the baby’s sex, but wouldn’t be sharing with the public. Cavallari also revealed that she and Cutler plan to raise their family away from Los Angeles.

“I will live in Chicago half the year, then Nashville for the other half. I’ll come to L.A. whenever I need to,” she said. “We both don’t want to raise our kid with paparazzi and cameras in our face. We want to give them as normal of a life as possible.”

After an on-off engagement and a November reconciliation, Cavallari and Cutler announced in January that they were expecting their first child. They have not yet set a date for the wedding.

A representative for Cavallari did not immediately return The Hollywood Reporter's request for comment.
