Kristin Cavallari, Jay Cutler Engaged Again
The former MTV reality star made the announcement on Twitter before Cutler confirmed the news at a press conference.
It looks like Kristin Cavallari and professional football player Jay Cutler are back on again.
After recent reports surfaced that the couple, who called off their engagement in July, were headed down the aisle, the former MTV reality star revealed the happy news to her nearly 685,000 Twitter followers Wednesday.
"This time its official..Jay and I are engaged again :)," Cavallari tweeted.
Later that day during a news conference, Cutler said he "just heard about" Cavallari's tweet, confirming that they were indeed engaged to be married though no wedding date has been set.
When they were first engaged, Cutler proposed to the Laguna Beach and The Hills star in April while on vacation in Mexico. The couple, who had been dating since last fall, were said to be planning a spring wedding at the time.
Cavallari, best known for her parts on MTV docuseries Laguna Beach and The Hills, has guest starred on CSI: NY and The Middle. She also competed on Dancing With the Stars.
Cutler spent three seasons with the Denver Broncos before being traded to the Chicago Bears in 2009.
