Kristin Chenoweth Covers Carrie Underwood’s 'Lessons Learned' (Video)
The Tony-winning actress premiered her first video off of her upcoming album, “Some Lessons Learned.”
Kristin Chenoweth has starred on Broadway, guest starred on Glee, penned a memoir, performed a solo concert at The Met, and released a Christian album.
Now, she’s going a little bit country for her upcoming album Some Lessons Learned. Chenoweth released a video for the song "Lessons Learned," which also appeared on Carrie Underwood’s 2005 debut album, Some Hearts. Diane Warren, who penned the song, also wrote four other tracks on Chenoweth’s album, which will hits stores September 13.

The 13 song-album is a collection of pop country, returning Chenoweth, who is an Oklahoma native, back to her roots."It's the closest to home that I could get," she told Reuters. "Someone asked me 'why a country record, why now? ' Well, it's because it's been going on since I was about five."
A big voice in a tiny package, Chenoweth is known for her Tony-winning performance in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and for originating the role of Glinda in the musical Wicked.
Chenoweth also had memorable TV roles, as Olive Snook on Pushing Daisies, for which she was twice nominated for an Emmy, and as the outspoken April Rhodes on Glee.
Some Lessons Learned will be the fourth album from the classically trained soprano. She previously released a Christmas album, A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas, in 2008.
Chenoweth will co-host the 2011 American Country Awards with Trace Adkins on December 5.
