Kylie Jenner: I Was Financially Cut Off at Age 14
And you thought she had it so easy.
If you thought Mama Kris Jenner was footing the bill for youngest client/child Kylie Jenner's lavish lifestyle (see: her recently purchased $2.7 million home), think again. In a new interview with InStyle UK, the 17-year-old says she's been paying her own bills for years now.
"My mom cut me off financially three years ago," the plump-lipped teen revealed. Kris' decision appears to have coincided with Kylie and sister Kendall's PacSun collaboration deal, which was in the works when Kylie was only 14. "I pay for everything — my car, my gas, and food, as well as my clothes."
As a certified member of the Kardashian-Jenner-West Klan and mini social media mogul, Jenner has nabbed endorsement deals (for Nip + Fab and Bellami Hair Extensions), retail capsule collections (at Topshop and PacSun) and countless appearances (not to mention her brief stint as a young adult novelist) that have turned the youngest of Kris' daughters into a money-making machine. But don't worry, aside from paying the rent, Jenner is still a regular teen with regular habits.
In addition to delving into her personal style, ("I dress like Khloe on my down days and Kim when I’m going out"), the interview also reveals how Ms. Jenner keeps her physique in Instagram-ready form. Spoiler — there's no Beyonce-worthy vegan diets going on here.
"I haven’t worked out in two and a half years," she admits. "I’m living out my youth not doing any exercise and eating what I want, which is pretty bad. I’m into yellow rice – you just cook it for 15 minutes, it tastes so good."
