Hailey Baldwin, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Ellie Goulding also made the cut.

For its third annual May "Fresh Faces" issue, Marie Claire — like Teen Vogue, Interview and Paper Mag before it — has pegged It-teen Kylie Jenner as an "up-and-coming" one to watch.

While Jenner's inclusion is only surprising in that she's still considered a "rising" star rather than one that's already secured her spot in the fickle world of celebrity fame, Marie Claire's other "Fresh Face" selections — Hailey Baldwin, who just signed with IMG, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who starred alongside Will Smith in Concussion — are in fact relatively new emerging talents that are sure to make their mark in the coming year.

In addition to landing her first major American magazine cover with Marie Claire, Baldwin also nabbed another iconic American gig as the face of Tommy Hilfiger's '90s Tommy Jeans capsule, in which she stars alongside Lucky Blue Smith. Mbatha-Raw will dip into the mainstream next spring as Plumette in the live-action remake of Beauty in the Beast, which stars Emma Watson as Belle.

Rounding out the 2016 class are Zendaya and Ellie Goulding, each of whom have arguably made a splash on the Hollywood scene (and red carpets) for more than a few years.

Marie Claire also managed to unearth a few trivia-worthy tidbits from the ladies — namely that if you ever find yourself behind the wheel of Jenner's car, you'd better think twice before adjusting the rearview mirror.
