Billboard Music Awards: How to Score Kylie Jenner's Cascading Curls

Kendall Jenner definitely set tongues wagging at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday with her look from the forthcoming H&M x Balmain collaboration, but we're equally smitten with sister Kylie's hair.

Longtime stylist Clyde Haygood dreamed up the look for the youngest Jenner, who asked him for something "relaxed and easy," he says. Playing off Kylie's sculptural Balmain look, Haygood and makeup artist Joyce Bonelli "added a little softness with hair and makeup," he added. Haygood also wanted to create a style that emphasized Kylie's new haircut and played up her locks, which are currently extension free.

"Kylie has a great head of hair. It can be a little coarse, so you want to tame it," says Haygood. Using Oribe Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray ($64), Haygood blow-dried the 17-year old's mane with a medium-sized round brush, turning it under along the way. After prepping the hair with Kardashian Beauty Take 2 Dry Conditioner ("which keeps hair shiny and smooth, and controls flyaways easily"), Haygood used the Kardashian Beauty 3-in-1 Ceramic Hairstyling Iron ($89.99) to create soft, subtle curls, setting the final look in place with L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hair Spray ($14.99).
