Kyra Sedgwick starring in Tropicana ads

Actress serves as pitchwoman for new Trop50 juice

NEW YORK -- Kyra Sedgwick is the face of Tropicana's new light orange juice, Trop50.

Sedgwick will appear in what the company says is her first-ever multimillion-dollar national advertising campaign, which launches Monday with a TV spot that will run on national and cable networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Food Network and HGTV.

The actress will also be seen in print ads set for entertainment weeklies, as well as food, health and fitness, beauty, fashion and women's publications, including "Everyday With Rachael Ray" and "O -- The Oprah Magazine."

"Tropicana is something that's been in our family for a long time, and I love the premise of Trop50 because it delivers the goodness of orange juice, but with just half the sugar and calories," Sedgwick said.

The TV spot shows Sedgwick sipping a glass of Trop50 on a bright sunny morning, which leads her to dance around her kitchen to Tom Jones' "She's a Lady."
