Golden Globes: 'La La Land' Wins Best Original Song in a Motion Picture

The 74th annual awards show, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday.

"City of Stars" for La La Land, with music by Justin Hurwitz and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, took home the Golden Globe for best original song in a motion picture on Sunday.

The original song beat out "Can't Stop the Feeling" for Trolls (music and lyrics by Justin Timberlake, Max Martin and Shellback), "Faith" for Sing (music and lyrics by Ryan Tedder, Stevie Wonder and Francis Farewell Starlite), "Gold" for Gold (music and lyrics by Brian Burton, Stephen Gaghan, Daniel Pemberton and Iggy Pop) and "How Far I'll Go" for Moana (music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda).

Jimmy Fallon hosted the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards, which took place at the Beverly Hilton on Jan. 8.
