Lady Gaga Is First Person to Reach 10 Million Twitter Followers

"I'm speechless," she Tweets. "It's an illness how I love you."

Lady Gaga became the first person to have 10 million Twitter followers over the weekend.

"10MillionMonsters! I'm speechless, we did it!" she posted just after midnight ET on May 14 along with a photo of herself waving to fans. PHOTOS: Lady Gaga and other stars on the Grammys red carpet

"Its an illness how I love you. Leaving London smiling," added Gaga, who will release her next single, Hair, on Monday. Her album, Born This Way, drops May 23.

Following closely behind her is Justin Bieber, who has 9,672,047 followers at 9 a.m. ET.
