Lady Gaga's Fans Slam 'Born This Way' Album Cover

Lady Gaga's little monsters are not pleased with the new cover for Born This Way.

"WTF NO," wrote one fan on the Grammy winner's message board, who can't believe she's "A F--KING MOTORCYLE" on the black and white cover, which feature's her head as the handlebars. (The "special edition" is a close-up of Gaga with bright red lips and her hair flying into her mouth.)

"This better be fake," fumed another. Because I'm not OK with it."

"It's ugly, I should say," added another.

After Gaga confirmed that it was indeed the actual cover to her new album (out May 23) -- Tweeting on Saturday: "Can't believe it's here! So happy+free to finally share this w you" -- even more fans complained online.

"It's here to stay," wrote one. "Now stare at it and cry."

Another fan conceded it was OK. "I don't love it. But I'll accept it as her own work and if she wants to be a motorcycle, she can be a motorcycle," he wrote.

Her new tune, "Judas" was also recently criticized. She will appear as Mary Magdalene in the video.

Fumed Bill Donahue, president of The Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, in a statement: "This is a stunt... Lady Gaga tries to continue to shock Catholics and Christians in general: she dresses as a nun... she swallows the rosary. She has now morphed into a caricature of herself.

Her creative director, Laurieann Gibson (who was behind the Grammy egg), told The Hollywood Reporter that "Judas" shouldn't be offensive.

"It went through several changes and late-night debates because at one point, there were two completely different views and I was like, 'Listen, I don't want lightning to strike me! I believe in the gospel and I'm not going there.' And it was amazing because to have that conversation about salvation, peace and the search for the truth in a room of non-believers and believers, to me, that was saying God is active in a big way. And the place that it came to is surreal. We don't touch on things that we have no right touching upon, but the inspiration and the soul and idea that out of your oppression, your darkness, your Judas, you can come into the marvelous light. So it's about the inspiration and to never give up… We've created a new Jerusalem."
