Lana Del Rey's New Single Is Titled 'West Coast'
The California-loving singer's next anthem will presumably come from her "Ultraviolence" album.
Earlier this week, an unreleased Lana Del Rey track titled "Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight" surfaced online, and some wondered aloud if the song was a preview of the singer's hotly anticipated sophomore album, Ultraviolence. Del Rey has taken to Twitter to shoot down those hypotheses, but has also confirmed that her next single -- which would presumably be from Ultraviolence -- will be titled "West Coast."
Last night, Del Rey responded to a post from Prefix Magazine's Twitter feed that claimed "Moonlight" was "a b-side from Ultraviolence.

"Wrote that for someone else 4 years ago ...... New single is called West Coast," the songstress posted, then including a picture of herself for good measure.
Just like Ultraviolence, the release date for "West Coast" is unknown, but perhaps Del Rey will preview the track during her 16-date North American tour, which kicks off in Texas on Apr. 16. Before that, she will perform at Coachella on Apr. 13.
Earlier this year, Del Rey's cover of "Once Upon a Dream," from the upcoming fantasy film Maleficent, was released. The 27-year-old is working with the Black Keys' Dan Auerbach on the follow-up to her 2012 debut Born to Die, which recently crossed 1 million copies sold.
