Lance Bass has officially joined The Meredith Vieira Show for the next nine months, and his new endeavor has already reunited him with another NSYNCer. During his first week of taping in the NBC studio, he ran into the one and only Justin Timberlake.

“I have to come all the way to NBC just to see my friends,” Bass joked on the Sept. 10 episode of Meredith. The two former bandmates crossed paths Wednesday (Sept. 9) when Timberlake was preparing to appear on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon later that day.

Although the two have remained good friends, Bass revealed it was the "first time" he's seen Timberlake since his son Silas Randall was born -- and that the past boy bander who once rocked a frosted afro has been positively impacted by fatherhood.

“It’s been five months, and it’s so amazing to see a friend go through this, because, you know, I grew up with him since he was 14-years-old," Bass said. "But to see this amazing dad now and all he wants to talk about is the kid.”

Bass added that the "SexyBack" singer has "completely changed," also mentioning that he's hoping to follow Timberlake's path soon. “You have to [change]. I mean, I can’t wait to be a dad myself just because I would love to know what that selflessness feels like.”

Timberlake proved his proud dad status during his appearance on The Tonight Show. "It is the most insanely amazing, most beautiful, unbelievable thing that can ever happen to you," he told Fallon, adoringly sharing pictures of his son and wife Jessica Biel.
