Lauren Holly Joins Indie 'How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town'
"Lost Girl" actor Zoie Palmer also boards the Canadian comedy
Lauren Holly (NCIS) and Zoie Palmer have joined the Canadian independent film How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town, from writer-director Jeremy Lalonde.
The comedy already has The Killing actress Jewel Staite in the lead role of Cassie Cranston, a big-city sex writer who returns to her hometown and gets a chance to seek revenge on her former friends.
Holly, currently playing medical examiner Dr. Betty Rogers on ABC's Motive, will play the lead's mother, Maureen Cranston.
How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town also stars Christine Horne, Lauren Lee Smith, Katharine Isabelle and Ennis Esmer.
Jordan Walker and Chris Bennett are producing, while Avi Federgreen and Ryan Goldhar are executive producing.
The Canadian indie will shoot in October.
