Retired U.S. Women's Soccer player Abby Wambach joined the 'Girls' actress for a portion of her day on the New Hampshire campaign trail.

Lena Dunham is taking over for Hillary Clinton — on Instagram, at least.

The Girls creator-actress joined forces with the democratic presidential hopeful to take over the reigns of Clinton's Instagram Thursday, where she documented her day on the campaign trail and met with East Coast supporters.

"Hey y'all! I made it to New Hampshire and I'm thrilled to be taking over the HRC Instagram! Warning: I'm pretty focused on my outfits. #Imwithher -Lena," Dunham captioned the first post, which was accompanied by a photo of the actress in a red, white and blue striped dress.

The second photo shows Dunham with retired U.S. Women's Soccer player Abby Wambach. "Campaigning with dream babe @abbywambach ! Dress by All Knitwear by @annieleelarson with shoes by @charlotte_olympia. -Lena," she captioned the shot of her and the two-time Olympic gold medalist in front of a Clinton banner.

In the third photo, Dunham is shown meeting with women supporters in New Hampshire: "Love meeting and talking with the brilliant women of Portsmouth, NH! #ImWithHer -Lena."

Dunham announced on Twitter in December that she would be joining Clinton's campaign trail in early 2016. "Very excited to hit the road for @HillaryClinton in 2016. Iowa on Jan 9. and more stops announced soon! What does a STUMPER wear!?" she tweeted Dec. 15
