Lenny Letter Partners With Fab for Illustrated Collection

The artistic contributors for Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner's cult-favorite newsletter are taking center stage.

Girls creators Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner's feminist love-child newsletter, Lenny Letter, is understandably sought after these days. The pair just won the Webby’s New Founders of the Year award, and weeks later have shared an exciting new partnership.

Fab, the indie community that sells original products, has announced Lenny x Fab, a limited-edition collection of products based around the site's favorite newsletter illustrations. Available for the entire month of June, the line includes exclusive prints, double-sided totes and coffee mugs bearing art from eight emerging artists.

"The Lenny x Fab collaboration is a summer dream," Dunham told Pret-a-Reporter via email. "Beautiful totes, tees and mugs adorned with Lenny images, perfect for hauling ass to a BBQ or disrupting your work environment."

All the work was commissioned specifically for Lenny, and ranges from the subversive to ironic to sexy to funny. Of course, there are a couple illustrations that are political in nature. We are in an election year, after all. One piece originally accompanied an erotic satire about a sexcapade with Ted Cruz ($32 for the tote bag and $24 to $105 for a "museum-quality" poster on matte paper), while another begs women to "vote with their vagina" for Hillary Clinton ($20 for the mug and $34 to $100 for the poster). Get it while it’s hot.
