Lewin Webb Launches Scripted Division at Canada's Tricon Films & Television
The news comes as the veteran film and TV producer launches "I Declare War" at the Toronto International Film Festival.
TORONTO – Film and TV producer Lewin Webb (Casino Jack) is to head up a new scripted division at Canadian factual TV producer and distributor Tricon Films & Television.
The news came as Webb’s latest project, I Declare War, bows this week at the Toronto International Film Festival after being produced under his Samaritan Entertainment banner,
“With the world wide success of their first drama series Sanctuary and strength in international distribution, Tricon is perfectly positioned to grow in scripted content and I'm thrilled to be part of this exciting initiative,” Webb said Wednesday.
His other producer credits also include Winged Creatures, starring Forest Whitaker, Dakota Fanning and Kate Beckinsale, Chapter 27, starring Jared Leto and Lindsay Lohan, and the Steve Buscemi-starrer Delirious.
