Liam Neeson to guest on Showtime comedy
'Big C' role will reunite him with 'Kinsey' co-star Laura Linney
NEW YORK -- Liam Neeson will reteam with "Kinsey" co-star Laura Linney in one episode of Showtime's new comedy "The Big C."
The show premieres Aug. 16.
In the episode that will reunite them, Neeson will play "Bee Man," an eccentric character whom Cathy (Linney) consults for a possible treatment for her terminal cancer.
"The Big C" is about a repressed suburban Minneapolis teacher, wife and mother who reclaims her life after a terminal cancer diagnosis.
In other casting news Monday, Bonita Friedericy has joined "Chuck" as a series regular. Her character, Gen. Beckman, has so far been a recurring on the show and is now being upgraded to a regular.
Represented by management firm Jackson-Medavoy Entertainment and Amsel, Eisenstadt & Frazier, Friedericy's credits include a recurring role on USA's "The Starter Wife" and a guest appearance on NBC's "Parks and Recreation."
