Liam Neeson's 'Run All Night' Lands a New Release Date

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the action movie will hit theaters in spring 2015.

Liam Neeson's Run All Night has landed a new release date after being taken off the February 2015 calendar to make room for Jupiter Ascending.

Warner Bros. announced Tuesday that Run All Night will hit theaters April 17. It was originally supposed to roll out Feb. 6, but that date was given to Jupiter Ascending after that movie was moved out of summer 2014.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra from a script by y Brad Ingelsby, Run All Night centers on a man who must take on his former boss (Ed Harris) in order to protect his estranged son (Joel Kinnaman). 

Run All Night also stars Vincent D'Onofrio, Holt McCallany and Beau Knapp. Roy Lee is producing with Brooklyn Weaver. This will be Neeson's third collaboration with Collet-Serra, after 2011's Unknown and February's Non-Stop.

The movie's new date provides more distance between it and Taken 3, likewise starring Neeson. Fox releases Taken 3 on Jan. 9.

Also opening April 17 are Ryan Reynolds' sci-fi thriller Selfless; Child 44, starring Tom Hardy and Noomi Repace; and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.
