Toronto 2012: Lightning Entertainment Takes International Rights to Warren Sonoda's 'Servitude'

The Canadian indie workplace comedy, starring Dave Foley and Joe Dinicol, is one of the titles picked up by the sales company at TIFF.

TORONTO – Lightning Entertainment has taken the U.S. and international distribution rights to Warren Sonoda’s Servitude, the Canadian theatrical comedy from Buck Productions and Victory Man Productions.

Servitude stars Joe Dinicol, Enrico Colantoni, Dave Foley and Kristen Hager, and is based on a script by Michael Sparaga (Sidekick).

The indie about rebellious restaurant staff who exact one evening of revenge was released theatrically by Alliance Films in Canada earlier this year, and made its U.S. debut at the Newport Beach Film Festival in April 2012.

Servitude is produced by Sean Buckley and Sparaga.
