Lin-Manuel Miranda Pays Respects at Alexander Hamilton's Grave
'Hamilton' is the hottest ticket on Broadway and President Obama has seen the show numerous times.
Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda visited the resting place of Alexander Hamilton on Friday.
Miranda, who became a household name thanks to his smash hit musical Hamilton, based on the life of the founding father, was spotted by a Twitter user who posted an image of the artist. Miranda then confirmed it was in fact him at the grave.
Hamilton is the hottest ticket on Broadway and has grossed more than $61.7 million at the box office since previews began last July.
Shows are sold out and tickets on the secondary market go for as much as thousands of dollars.
President Obama has seen the show multiple times and invited the cast to perform some of the numbers at the White House.
