Lionsgate, Tribeca Enterprises Name Head of Branded SVOD Platform

Former Universal Music Group exec Jeff Bronikowski will lead Tribeca Shortlist, to launch this fall.

Former Universal Music Group exec Jeff Bronikowski has been tapped to lead Tribeca Shortlist, the upcoming subscription video-on-demand service from Lionsgate and Tribeca Enterprises.

The service will launch later this year with a selection of curated film titles refreshed weekly. Most recently,  Bronikowski was COO of of Daily Burn, a fitness-themed SVOD. Before that, he oversaw digital content strategy at the Universal Music Group for 12 years.

His appointment was unveiled Wednesday by Lionsgate president of worldwide television & digital distribution Jim Packer and Tribeca Enterprises president and COO Jon Patricof.

"We see a fantastic market opportunity for this unique movie service, featuring a curated selection of quality films along with compelling original companion content," said Bronikowski in a statement.

Tribeca Shortlist will enter a beta testing phase next month and officially launch in the fall.
