LMFAO to Join Katy Perry at Canada's MuchMusic Video Awards
The party rockers will perform and co-host the Canadian awards show on June 17, to air on MuchMusic in Canada and Fuse stateside.
TORONTO – The American electro-pop duo LMFAO is joining chart topper Katy Perry as performers at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards.
The party rockers will also co-host the Canadian music video awards on June 17, to air on the MuchMusic channel in Canada and on the Fuse cable channel stateside.
“Canada is the first place LMFAO went #1, and now the first place we will host an award show,” said RedFoo, after their first hit single “Party Rock Anthem” off their current album Sorry for Party Rocking became a Youtube phenomenon.
The LMFAO performance at the MMVAs will also come before the energetic duo make a Toronto concert tour stop in July as part of their criss-crossing North American tour.
The MMVA organizers, which earlier announced Perry as a performer next month, will make additional talent lineup announcements in the coming weeks.
