TV Land premier ups viewer numbers

Wednesday night's premiere of TV Land's new reality competition series "She's Got the Look" averaged 669,000 total viewers, up 15% over the same time period a year ago, and a median age of 44. The series also averaged a 427,000 among adults 25-54, up 23% over last year, with the audience composed of half women and half men, according to Nielsen.

Entertainment Studios has renewed its syndicated half-hour comedy strip "Comics Unleashed" through 2009-10.

Outdoor Channel announced a new self-defense series, "The Best Defense," which will premiere in the fourth quarter. The network also has renewed its carriage agreement with Comcast.

Music-centric cable channel Fuse has launched a multimillion-dollar advertising campaign, "Music Is," tapping into consumers personal and emotional connections with music. It also unveiled a new tag line, reminding them to "Get Your Music On" Fuse.
