'Lost's' Doug Hutchison Marries 16-Year-Old Aspiring Country Singer

Character actor Doug Hutchison, who has appeared in Lost, The Green Mile and The X Files, has married an aspiring country singer 35 years his junior.

The 51-year-old actor, who might be recognized for his role as Horace Goodspeed on Lost, married 16-year-old Courtney Alexis Stodden in Las Vegas on May 20.

In a statement to E! News, the couple acknowledged their age difference.

"We're aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial," the couple said through a rep. "But we're very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless."

Hutchison most recently appeared in Fox's Lie to Me. He played Percy Whitmore in The Green Mile and Eugene Victor Tooms in The X Files.

Stodden also was in the running for Miss Teen Washington USA last year.
