'Love and Other Drugs' opening AFI Fest
Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway pic premieres Nov. 4
"Love and Other Drugs," a romantic comedy starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway, will premiere Nov. 4 as the opening-night gala film for the American Film Institute's AFI Fest 2010.
Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan," which is generating awards heat after appearances at the Venice Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival, will close the festival Nov. 11.
"Drugs" director Ed Zwick and Aronofsky are alumni of the AFI Conservatory.
The festival will screen at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the Mann Chinese 6 Theatres, the Egyptian Theatre and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
It runs concurrent to the American Film Market, which runs Nov. 3-10.
