'Mad Men' Costume Designer Janie Bryant Signs With WME (Exclusive)
The Emmy winner recently collaborated on an apparel collection for HSN.
Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant has signed with WME, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.
One of the best known costumers in the business, Bryant gained attention and acclaim for bringing the style of the 1960s to life in the AMC drama, for which she received two Costume Designers Guild Awards and a trio of Emmy nominations. She also previously won an Emmy for HBO’s Deadwood.
Mad Men’s popularity led to Bryant’s collaboration with Banana Republic, and she also has worked with Brooks Brothers, eBay, Eko furniture, Hearts on Fire jewelry, Mack Weldon, Maidenform, QVC and Sony.
Since Mad Men ended its run, Bryant was tapped by the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C., to update its staff uniforms. This fall she also joined fellow costume designers to create their own signature apparel lines for an HSN collection called "From the Set."
