'Today' Highlights Madonna's Clothes That Are Up for Auction
The items include the gown she wore for her wedding to Sean Penn
In November, some of Madonna's clothes and memorabilia will be auctioned off as part of by Julien's Auctions at the Icons & Idols: Rock 'n Roll auction in Beverly Hills. The president of the auction house, Darren Julien, stopped by Today on Tuesday to show off some of the items that will be available.
The clothing highlighted included the baseball uniform Madonna wore in 1992 film A League of Their Own, as well as the Marilyn Monroe-inspired dress from her "Material Girl" music video. The wedding dress she wore when she married Sean Penn in 1985 is estimated to sell for $40,000 to $60,000.
The auction will begin on Nov. 7.
