Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard are parents for the second time.

A rep has confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the couple have "welcomed daughter Gloria Ray on April 19 in New York."

The in-demand acting duo who call Brooklyn home had their first child, daughter Ramona, in October 2006. They were married in a small chapel in Italy in 2009.

Gyllenhaal's pregnancy was first confirmed by her reps last November, after red carpet photos of the Dark Knight star led to "baby bump" speculation.

Gyllenhaal is currently filming an adaptation of the Jonathan Franzen novel The Corrections for HBO. Sarsgaard will next appear in porn-industry biopic Lovelace, playing husband to Amanda Seyfried's Linda Lovelace.

A rep for uncle Jake Gyllenhaal had no comment.
