Molly R. Stern dishes on the products she's most excited about at the moment.

To see the faces of Reese Witherspoon, Lily Collins and Cara Delevingne staring out from the red carpet or peppering countless magazine covers, it's clear that their longtime makeup artist, Molly R. Stern, is incredibly talented. But beyond Stern's artistry, it's her infectious spirit and exuberant personality that light up even the most harried pre-event hotel room or stressful on-set location.

Seriously, just check out her Instagram feed, where she posts plenty of behind-the-scenes photos of her and her star clients goofing around and a good amount of inspiring messages supporting women.

Stern's got a coveted roster of clients to keep her busy, but she manages to keep it all in stride and the "organized chaos" of her makeup kit, as she puts it, reflects that.

Here Stern shares some her favorite brands and the specific products she's especially loving right now.

In a word (or two), how would you describe your kit?
Organized chaos.

Are there one or two brands that dominate the kit?
More like five or six. A lot of NARS and Laura Mercier. Diehard Chantecaille and Natura Bisse, too.

How long have you been building it to what it is today?
Twenty-five years ... my favorite Shu Uemura eyebrow liner, which was discovered in the '90s, is still used in heavy rotation.

What made you want to become a makeup artist?
I love the power that makeup can have in transforming a mood. I love making women feel good.

What would you consider you secret weapon?
Blush. In my opinion, anyone looks brighter and more alive with a flushed cheek.

Which few items are you the most excited about at the moment?
TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Radiance Boosting Pen, Jillian Dempsey Lid Tints and Anastasia Liquid Lipstick

If this kit could talk, what would it say?
All humans share the same insecurities. Whether you are considered "average" or a "bombshell" — if you aren’t surrounding yourself with positivity and love, no amount of makeup will make you feel gorgeous.
