Mandylor, Turner fit for 'Doubt'
EmptyJanine Turner and Costas Mandylor have been tapped to star in a TV movie tentatively titled "Primal Doubt," which is set to air on Lifetime.
Maeve Quinlan also has been cast in the telefilm, which centers on the lonely wife (Turner) of a busy executive (Mandylor) who begins a cyber-affair with a widower in search of companionship. After she and the man decide to meet in person, the widower turns up dead.
Robert Halmi Jr. is the executive producer along with Larry Levinson. Yelena Lanskaya is directing from a script by Steve Niver.
Turner has co-starred on such series as Lifetime's "Strong Medicine" and CBS' "Northern Exposure." Her recent film credits include "The Night of the White Pants," opposite Tom Wilkinson, Nick Stahl, Selma Blair and Frances Fisher.
Mandylor's credits include the films "Saw II," "Saw III" and the upcoming fourth installment in the franchise as well as Fox's "The Wedding Bells." He is repped by Innovative Artists and Evolution Entertainment.
Quinlan co-stars on the N's "South of Nowhere" and next appears in the upcoming feature film "Not Easily Broken" opposite Morris Chestnut and Taraji Henson. She is repped by Abrams Artists Agency and Main Title Entertainment.
