Report: Top executive signs new three-year dealNEW YORK -- NBC Universal has signed Marc Graboff to a new three-year deal that keeps the NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios chairman at the entertainment firm.
According to a report on Deadline.com, Graboff had other offers, and the renewal process dragged on, but he decided to stay put. He has worked at NBC Uni since 2000 and has been seen as a force of stabilization.
As such, his renewal is seen as good news for cable giant Comcast, which is looking to buy a majority stake in NBC Uni.
