Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza Wed; TLC Special to Air December 8
The "X Factor" and "Extra" host and his longtime love--parents of a two-year-old daughter--tied the knot at the Mexico estate of "Girls Gone Wild" creator Joe Francis.
Saved by the wedding bells: After nearly five years of dating, Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza have finally said "I do."

The former Saved by the Bell hunk, 39, who now hosts The X Factor and cohosts Extra--among many other gigs--tied the knot with Mazza, 31, on the beach in Punta Mita, Mexico on Saturday. Their two-year-old daughter, Gia, served as a flower girl wearing a dress to match her mother's, and Eva Longoria was a bridesmaid. The sunset ceremony was officiated by a Catholic priest in front of 150 guests.

The couple became engaged on New Year's Eve 2011, after Lopez popped the question on a vacation in Ixatapa, Mexico--with an $80,000 ring.
“We took a walk alone as the sun was setting," Lopez said of the proposal. "I told Courtney that I wanted the mother of my children to have their last name. She was silent at first from shock, then she leaped for join and did a little jete!”
Lopez is no stranger to television, and it was confirmed in the fall that the nuptials were set to be televised as well. Mario & Courtney's Wedding Fiesta will air as a two-hour special on TLC December 8, at 8 pm EST.

"I'm just a sidekick in it. My fiancée is the star," Lopez told People of the wedding special. "I just want the wedding itself to be fun, just a blast, everybody to party and have fun and to go all night."
Fun is the name of the game at their wedding venue: the festivities occurred at the estate of pal Joe Francis, creator of Girls Gone Wild. “I’ve been friends with Mario for more than a decade and I met Courtney on one of their very first dates over 4 years ago," Francis wrote on his website. "I have never seen a couple more in love and committed to each other and their family. I love both very much and I’m honored to be a part of their special day.”
In addition to showing the wedding fiesta and all the details of the planning that went into it over the past year, the wedding special will feature the work of another TLC star: The couple's wedding cake was designed by none other than Cake Boss Buddy Valastro.
