1991 Debuts as a rapper with Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
1992 Co-authors the book "Marky Mark."
1994 Makes his feature acting debut in "Renaissance Man."
1995 Receives critical acclaim in "The Basketball Diaries."
1997 Wows viewers in "Boogie Nights," which promptly launches him to Hollywood's A-list.
1999 Makes the first of three collaborations with David O. Russell in "Three Kings"; 2004's "I Heart Huckabees" and the upcoming "The Fighter" follow.
2001 Establishes the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation to raise funds for and support youth programs.
2004 Executive produces the HBO series "Entourage," cementing a producing relationship with the cable network that also includes "In Treatment" and "How to Make It in America."
2006 Earns a best supporting actor Oscar nomination for "The Departed."
2009 Marries Rhea Durham, his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children.





2010 The couple's fourth child is born; Wahlberg dips his feet in comedy with a small part in "Date Night" and goes full-tilt with the genre in the upcoming "The Other Guys" opposite Will Ferrell.
