Zuckerberg made his first official visit to the New England campus since his 2004 departure – though he has previously visited on informal recruiting trips -- to search for talented young scholars to join his Facebook team. The 27-year-old CEO made a recruitment pitch to 250 students outside the campus library, following a similar visit at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, reports Fox News.
“We’re just getting started,” he said. “The next five or 10 years are going to be about all the different products and industries that can be rethought.”

Donning his signature hoodie and jeans, Zuckerberg was barricaded from the crowd, which also included several reporters. He is slated to appear at Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon University on Tuesday, according to Bloomberg.
Facebook remains a top tier competitor, along with Google Inc, Yahoo! Inc and other Silicon Valley companies, in the hunt for the country’s top young graduates. Zuckerberg’s Cambridge, Massachussetts visit prompted the announcement that Facebook plans to expand and could open an office in the Boston area.
