Mary Elizabeth Winstead Signs With UTA (Exclusive)
The actress stars in A&E's upcoming remake of French drama 'The Returned.'
Mary Elizabeth Winstead has signed with UTA, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.
The actress will soon be seen starring on A&E's The Returned, a remake of the acclaimed French supernatural drama of the same name, premiering March 9. The following month, she'll appear on the big screen as the title character in Alex of Venice, Chris Messina's directorial debut that premiered at Tribeca last year. Winstead recently wrapped the lead in Paramount's thriller Valencia (formerly titled The Cellar), produced by J.J. Abrams.
Winstead is an indie darling known for starring roles in Smashed and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, but also genre projects like Final Destination 3, Death Proof and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Her other recent film credits include Kill the Messenger, The Spectacular Now, A Good Day to Die Hard and A.C.O.D.
