Jeffrey Katzenberg will also be awarded the first annual Sid Grauman Award, acknowledging his achievements in the motion picture industry.

Reese Witherspoon will receive the 29th American Cinematheque mid-career achievement award, which will presented to her by Matthew McConaughey at the Cinematheque's annual benefit gala.

Also at the ceremony, Jeffrey Katzenberg will be awarded the first annual Sid Grauman Award, acknowledging his achievements in the motion picture industry.

Witherspoon was well-known for her early comedic roles in movies like Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama, before she went one to more serious fare with movies like Walk the Line, a role which won her an Oscar for best supporting actress. She will also be recognized for her work as a producer via her Pacific Standard banner (Wild and Gone Girl).

Witherspoon and McConaughey appeared together in Jeff NicolsMud.

The gala tribute will take place on Oct. 30 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, where country star Kenny Chesney will perform.
