Mayor Eric Garcetti Sells Silver Lake Home to M83's Anthony Gonzalez
The 4,000-square-foot 2010 home includes six bedrooms and five bathrooms, plus views of the reservoir from the master suite.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has sold his Silver Lake home to M83 member Anthony Gonzalez, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The 4,000-square-foot Hidalgo Avenue home includes six bedrooms and five bathrooms, plus an open living room, dining room, media room, home office, and a kitchen with concrete counters and a walk-in pantry. The property enjoys views of the reservoir from the master suite, while decks overlook the city at large.
The sale closed earlier this month, but the price has yet to be announced.
Garcetti and his wife, Amy Wakeland, first purchased the 2010 modern-contemporary home in the highly sought-after neighborhood for $1.425 million, and it was momentarily listed in April for a one-year lease at $8,500 a month.
The Garcetti family has since moved into the official mayoral residence, the 8,076-square-foot English Tudor-style Getty House in Windsor Square.
Jacqueline Tager of Sotheby's International Realty represented Garcetti and Wakeland.
