James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff are in negotiations to star in "Perrier's Bounty," to be directed by Ian Fitzgibbon from a script by Mark O'Rowe.

Set in contemporary Dublin, the script is billed as a fast-paced comedy thriller revolving around three unlikely fugitives on the run from a gangster named Perrier, who is desperate to retain his pride and money after the accidental murder of one of his loyal gang.

London-based sales and financier HanWay Films is repping the title to buyers at the European Film Market.

Made by production banners Parallel Films and Number 9 Films, the project will be produced by Alan Moloney from Parallel and Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen from Number 9.

Scheduled to shoot this year, the movie has been developed through the Number 9 Films slate funding deal with Parallel, Film4, Irish Film Board and the U.K. Film Council.

McAvoy is repped by United Agents and WMA. Duff is repped by Gordon and French.
