'Me Before You' Trailer: A Love Story Starring Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin
"You are pretty much the only thing that makes me want to get up in the morning."
Jojo Moyes' novel Me Before You was a best-selling tearjerker, and judging from the film adaptation's first trailer, the movie is following in its emotional footsteps.
Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke stars as Louisa Clark, a woman hired to help take care of Will Traynor, a quadriplegic young man played by The Hunger Games' Sam Claflin. The romantic drama follows the two as they fall in love and Louisa tries her hardest to draw Will out of his deep depression.
The trailer highlights a lot of special moments for fans of the novel, including Will teasing Lou about her "interesting choice of footwear," their orchestra date, Lou's bumblebee tights, Lou's attempt to shave Will and the wheelchair wedding dance scene. The video clip also refers to the six-month promise Will made to his parents and his insistence that Lou live her life "as fully as possible."
"Do you know something Clark? You are pretty much the only thing that makes me want to get up in the morning," Will tells Lou at the end of the trailer.
