Media Rights Capital Finds VP, Television Production, in Charlie Goldstein
The industry veteran produced the "Newsroom" pilot and Warner Bros.' "The Mentalist" and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."
Independent film, television and digital studio Media Rights Capital announced Thursday the appointment of its new vice president of television production.
Charlie Goldstein, who's previously produced the pilot of Aaron Sorkin’s upcoming HBO series Newsroom as well as Warner Bros.’ The Mentalist and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, has taken the job. He'll report directly to MRC SVP and head of physical production, James Glander.
In his new position, Goldstein will oversee physical production on multiple TV projects, including David Cronenberg's Knifeman pilot, and current series like David Fincher Netflix outing House of Cards and The Ricky Gervais Show.
Prior to joining MRC, Goldstein served as EVP of television production at 20th Century Fox Television from 1986 to 2002 after a five-year tenure at NBC Productions.
