Meghan Trainor Designs a Makeup Bag for Clinique
Turns out she's all about that makeup, too.
Meghan Trainor has teamed up with cult beauty favorite Clinique to design a "Lips are Movin' "-inspired makeup bag. The sequins-and-stripes creation, which shares an aesthetic with her color-saturated music video, is free with a purchase of $30 or more of Clinique cosmetics.
Trainor’s retro, girly-girl style (a perfect fit for her doo-wop sound) seems an ideal match for the fresh cosmetics line. The "All About that Bass" singer is "pumped" about working with Clinique, telling Teen Vogue that the collaboration came at the perfect time. "I was struggling with my acne from piling so much makeup on for performances, and when my makeup artist told me that Clinique was great for your skin, that's when I really got excited," said Trainor.
As part of her collaboration, Trainor also curated a collection of her nine favorite lip products (all in bright hues, of course), ranging from bold "Matte Mandarin" to plum-colored "Kissyfit," available for $16 to $17 each.
The limited-edition bag comes on the heels of the release of her album, Title, which dropped on Jan. 9.
