'Men in Black 3' to Open in 474 Imax Theaters Worldwide

The latest installment of the MIB franchise, starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, will be released on 278 super-sized screens and another 196 screens overseas.
TORONTO - Columbia's alien adventure flick Men in Black 3 will open in 474 Imax theaters worldwide this Friday, simultaneous with a North American wide release.

The Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones-starrer will be released domestically in 278 theaters, and in another 196 Imax theaters internationally.

The tentpole, the first in the MIB franchise to be screened by Imax, via a digitally-remastered version, will have additional dates announced in the coming weeks.
Barry Sonnenfeld directs Men in Black 3, based on a screenplay by Etan Cohen.
Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald produce, and Steven Spielberg and G. Mac Brown are the executive producers.
