MESoft ups Goeske to tech head
EmptyMESoft co-founder Freddy Goeske has been upped from vp technology to chief technology officer at the Burbank-based media technology company.
In recent months, the company has brought on staffers in newly created positions including vp services Steve Pitts and product manager Eric de Castro. A search is under way for a vp engineering, a new position, as well as a CEO, a role that was vacated several months ago by company co-founder Mark Kapcznski.
"Growing the team is allowing me to become more focused on the product and the product road map, and spend more time with customers, making sure the product is getting where it needs to be," Goeske said.
In March, MESoft received $6 million in funding from a group led by Peninsula Equity Partners and Sid R. Bass Associates. These investors are now the majority owners of the venture, which develops software to facilitate production collaboration and approvals, media management and distribution.
