MGM taps Batista for marketing
Veteran's resume includes DreamWorks, ParamountChristine Batista has joined MGM as senior vp theatrical marketing and national partnerships.
Batista spent a decade in marketing and publicity at DreamWorks, followed by three years at Paramount, where she worked on campaigns for "Transformers," "World Trade Center," "Kung Fu Panda" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."
At both studios, she worked with current MGM executive vp theatrical marketing Mike Vollman, to whom she will report.
"As the scope of MGM's slate continues to grow, it is important that our marketing department strengthen, evolve and keep pace," Vollman said.
