Sony Pictures Classics' Michael Barker, 'Grey's Anatomy's' Chandra Wilson to be Inducted into Texas Film Hall of Fame
Dallas native Jesse Plemons will receive the rising star award as Barker, Wilson and the previously announced Carol Burnett are inducted at the March 10 Texas Film Awards.
Sony Pictures Classics co-president and co-founder Michael Barker and Grey's Anatomy's Chandra Wilson are both set to be inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame at the March 10 Texas Film Awards, the Austin Film Society announced Monday.
In addition, Dallas native Jesse Plemons — known for his roles on TV's Friday Night Lights, Breaking Bad and Fargo and films Black Mass and Bridge of Spies — will receive the rising star award at the event.
It was previously announced that Carol Burnett would be inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame.
Ethan Hawke, a Texas Film Hall of Fame member himself, will present Barker with the Austin Chronicle champion of the arts award.
Other members of the Texas Film Hall of Fame include Tommy Lee Jones, Cyd Charisse, Terrence Malick, Sissy Spacek and Quentin Tarantino.
