Michael Biehn to Star in Remake of 'Hidden in the Woods'
The deal came at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, where the actor-turned-film producer is screening his directorial debut, "The Victim."
TORONTO – Michael Biehn (Aliens, Sushi Girl) is to star in the English language remake of Chilean director Patricio Valladares’ Hidden in the Woods.
The remake by Blanc Biehn Productions comes as Biehn screens his directorial debut The Victim at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, where Valadares’ Spanish language film is also showing.
The English language version of Hidden in the Woods will be written by the original writers and creators of the Spanish version of the film, and will be shot in Chile by Valladares and Andrea Gavaletto, starting at the end of 2012.
Jennifer Blanc Biehn and Biehn will produce the indie picture.
Blanc Biehn Productions is also producing another feature, Treachery, top-lined by Biehn, Blanc Biehn and Caitlin Keats and written and directed by Travis Romero.
